Pasir Padi Beach is located in Temberan subdistrict, located approximately 8 km from downtown Pangkalpinang, this area is a promising tourist destination in the city of Pangkalpinang. Pasir Padi Beach has two kilometers stretch of white sand along its shoreline. One of the unique features of Pasir Padi Beach is its gently sloping shoreline, the sand is firm, making this beach easy to walk on and even passable by motorized vehicles including motorcycles, cars, and even tractor-trailers. The beauty of Pasir Padi Beach is just as captivating as that of the other beaches on Bangka Island. In addition to its panoramic views of the blue sea, beautiful nature, and interesting islands, not far from the shoreline there is a small island called Punai Island, that can be reached on foot at low tide. Pasir Padi Beach is the most popular tourist destination among the public, especially the residents of Pangkalpinang City and the surrounding areas. On holidays, the number of tourists reaches 6.000 per day. In addition to enjoying the beautiful natural scenery of the beach, visitors can also go swimming, fly kites, play beach volleyball or soccer, ride motocross bikes, or simply enjoy the refreshing taste of coconut ice while basking in the gentle sea breeze. Currently, the Pasir Padi Beach tourist area offers amenities such as restaurants, souvenir shops, a children’s playground, outdoor adventure and obstacle courses, and water sports. Pantai Pasir Padi terletak di Kelurahan Temberan, ± 8 km dari pusat Kota Pangkalpinang merupakan kawasan pariwisata potensial di Kota Pangkalpinang. Pantai Pasir Padi memiliki garis pantai dengan hamparan pasir putih sepanjang 2 km. Salah satu keunikan Pantai Pasir Padi adalah struktur pantainya yang landai, kontur pasir yang padat sehingga pantai ini nyaman untuk dilalui dengan jalan kaki bahkan dapat dilalui oleh kendaraan bermotor baik roda dua, roda empat bahkan truk jenis tronton. Keindahan Pantai Pasir Padi tidak kalah menariknya dengan pantai-pantai di Pulau Bangka lainnya. Selain memiliki panorama yang dihiasi laut biru, alam asri dan pulau-pulau menarik, tidak jauh dari bibir pantai terdapat sebuah daratan kecil yang bernama Pulau Punai, yang dapat dikunjungi dengan berjalan kaki di waktu air surut. Pantai Pasir Padi merupakan objek wisata yang paling banyak dikunjungi masyarakat, terutama masyarakat Kota Pangkalpinang dan sekitarnya. Pada hari libur jumlah kunjungan wisatawan mencapai 6.000 orang per hari. Selain menikmati panorama alam pantai yang indah wisatawan juga bisa berenang, bermain layang-layang, voli pantai, sepakbola, motor cross atau sekedar menikmati kesegaran es kelapa muda di tengah semilir angin pantai. Saat ini kawasan wisata Pantai Pasir Padi tersedia fasilitas pendukung seperti restoran, tempat souvenir, arena bermain anak, outbound dan ketangkasan serta permainan olahraga air.
